Softwave® TRT Therapy

A new way to help your body heal,
now available in Middleton, Idaho

Softwave TRT therapy in Middleton, Idaho.

Softwave TRT is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive treatment that uses patented parabolically focused shockwaves to stimulate your body’s natural healing process by increasing blood flow, decreasing inflammation and pain, activating stem cells, and even remodeling scar tissue.

What Are The Benefits of Softwave TRT Therapy?

Softwave TRT Therapy stimulates your body’s natural healing response to help reduce pain, improve tissue function, and speed up your recovery from injury or surgery. Research on acoustic wave therapy has shown promising results for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.

Reduces pain and inflammation by 65–91% after a full treatment course.2
Non-invasive and drug-free. No needles, medication, or surgery.
Lasting results. Many patients enjoy continual relief long after treatment.
Up to 300% increase of blood flow in the treatment area, which improves oxygen and nutrient delivery to support healing.1
No downtime. Most treatment sessions take less than 15 minutes, so you can get back to your day.

How Does Softwave TRT Work?

SoftWave TRT delivers broad-focused acoustic waves through the skin and into the treatment area. This triggers a process called mechanotransduction — where physical energy is converted into a biochemical healing signal at the cellular level. That signal stimulates new blood vessel formation (angiogenesis). This process helps:

  • Increase local blood flow
  • Support the body’s natural healing response
  • Modulate inflammation
  • Stimulate tissue remodeling and collagen production

Unlike other shockwave devices, SoftWave’s broad-focused technology is designed to deliver therapeutic energy across both shallow and deeper tissue. We can improve healing faster with less discomfort  and with less shocks, getting you back to your regular activities more quickly.

What Conditions Does Softwave TRT Treat?

Our goal is to provide a holistic, personalized treatment plan to help you get better!

Why Does the Cost of Shockwave Therapy Vary Between Providers?

Not all shockwave treatments are the same. Results depend heavily on the machine used and the dose of energy delivered per session. A lower-priced session that delivers fewer or less effective shocks may cost less upfront but will produce weaker results, require more treatments overall, and delay your recovery.

When comparing pricing between providers, ask about which machine they use and the shocks per session, not just the price per visit. We have priced our treatments to be slightly below industry standards in order to be able to help as many people as possible to recover quickly and without invasive techniques. We are currently the only SoftWave TRT provider in Canyon County.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect on the first Softwave TRT session?

Your first visit includes a mapping session where we will evaluate the area of concern and use the Softwave applicator to identify areas that may benefit the most from treatment. You will receive a full treatment during this same visit.

Each treatment delivers 800–1,000 shocks, the dosage recommended by SoftWave for effective results.

How long does Softwave treatment take?

Treatment sessions are quick and convenient. The initial consultation and mapping session is about 30 minutes. After that, most treatments take less than 15 minutes so you can get back to your day.

A typical treatment plan includes two sessions per week for the first two weeks, followed by one session per week for the remainder of the treatment course.

Most patients receive 6-12 treatments, depending on their condition and goals. We’ll develop a treatment plan during your initial visit, and we’ll adjust as needed based on how you respond.

Is Shockwave Therapy FDA-cleared?

Yes. SoftWave TRT is FDA 510(k)-cleared for several specific uses, including the temporary increase of local blood circulation, relief of minor muscle aches and pain, activation of connective tissue, treatment of chronic diabetic foot ulcers, and treatment of second-degree burns.

FDA clearance applies to specific labeled uses. Your physical therapist can help determine whether SoftWave TRT is appropriate for your particular condition.

Is Softwave therapy covered by insurance?

No. SoftWave TRT is a cash-pay service and is not currently covered by insurance.

Can I use Softwave TRT if I have a pacemaker?

It depends on where you’re being treated. SoftWave TRT should not be applied directly over or near a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device. Let us know if you have a pacemaker or other implanted device before treatment, and we’ll determine whether SoftWave is appropriate for you.

Can Softwave TRT help women who are pregnant?

SoftWave TRT is generally avoided over the abdomen, pelvis, or areas near the developing fetus during pregnancy. If you’re pregnant or think you may be pregnant, let us know before treatment so we can determine whether SoftWave is appropriate for you.

What are the side effects or risks of Softwave TRT therapy?

SoftWave TRT is generally very well tolerated. The most common effects are mild and temporary. They can include slight redness, swelling, or soreness in the treated area. Side effects typically resolve within a few hours to a couple of days. Because it doesn’t involve medication, injections, or surgery, this treatment avoids the risks associated with more invasive treatments.

Who can benefit from Softwave TRT treatment?

SoftWave TRT is a good fit for most patients dealing with musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, chronic soft tissue conditions, or post-surgical stiffness that haven’t responded to traditional therapy or other conservative measures.
